Our Story

over 70 years.  We are strong in tradition, and at the same time we are looking toward the future for what new ideas God has to show us.

We invite you to visit our church and see what our congregation is all about.  You will find that we offer a variety of worship.  We have a Sunday morning traditional service, as well as a contemporary service.  We also offer a Saturday evening service that resembles the style of the traditional service.

On Sunday mornings we have a variety of adult Sunday school classes.  Each class has a different size and personality to it. 

We offer a variety of activities to participate in outside of Sunday morning throughout the week.  We have an amazing children’s program.  The children are involved in music, artistic performances, and just down right having fun. 

There is also a large vibrant youth group within our church.  This group can be the loudest, craziest, and yet most fun group in the church.  The youth are involved in their own time of fun and crazy, they are used as a part of worship, and they certainly know how to give back to the community.

Christ UMC as a whole is heavily involved in service to the community.  Christ taught us to feed his sheep, not just through worship, but also through service and physical nourishment.  If you are in need we are here to help, if you have a want to serve, then you will be at home here at our church.

Just as our name says we endeavor to be Christ like.  We like to praise, worship, serve, and laugh.  Seeing each other’s smiles on Sunday morning is a blessing to each of us.  We would love to see your smile as well.
